Here is a nice little recipe I found on the, cook pad web site
(at http://cookpad.com/recipe/563594 ) . Unfortunately, that web site as is the recipe is only in Japanese. So, I have provided a rough translation below:
Ingredients
(1) うどん/Udon noddles (乾麺) 200grams
(2) ニラ/Chinese Chives 1/3束 (about 30 grams)
(3) もやし/Beansprouts 1/2袋 (about 150 grams)
(4) ピーマン/Green Bell Pepper 1個 (one)
(5) 牛肉/Beef(豚肉でも可/or pork) 適量 (amount to suit your taste)
(6) にんにく/Garlic 1かけ (one garlic clove)
(7) サラダ油 / (Salad Oil) light Cooking Oil 大さじ2 (30 milliliter)
(8) 塩・コショウ/Salt and Pepper
(9) 料理酒/ Rice Wine(Sake)
(10) 合わせ調味料 以下のもの Mix and Add the following sauces:
●ナムプラーThai Fish Sauce 大さじ1(One Spoon/15ml)
●オイスターソース /Oyster sauce 小さじ1(a tea Spoon 5ml)
●豆板醤 適量/Sichuan style dou ban jiang(お好みで/at your discretion)
●ごま油 sesame seed oil 大さじ1 (One Spoon/15 ml)
●レモン汁 適量/100% lemon Jucie (小さじ1程度/a tea Spoon 5ml)
Cooking Directions
1. 野菜、肉を適当な大きさに切り、にんにくはスライスしておく。鍋にお湯を沸かし、標準ゆで時間マイナス2分を目安にうどんをゆでる。
Cut vegetables, Garlic, and meat into bite-size pieces. Boil the Udon noddles in a skillet two minutes less than what is written on the package .
2. フライパンを十分に熱して、油をひく。そこににんにくを入れて香りがたったら、肉をいれ炒める。肉に火がとおったら、ピーマン、ニラ、もやしの順に入れて炒めながら塩・コショウで下味を付ける。
Warm up a frying pan, grease it with some cooking oil, and add sliced garlic. As soon as the garlic begins give off an aroma, add meat and stir . When meat is cooked add bell peppers, Chinese Chives, and bean sprouts. Then season with salt and pepper.
3. うどんをフライパンに入れ、具と混ぜ合わせる。あわせ調味料を入れ、よく混ぜ合わせて出来上がり。
Add the Udon noodles to the frying pan and mix with veggies. Pour the mixed sauce and stir well, then serve.
